The Menopause Society
The Menopause Society is a nonprofit organization with the mission of empowering healthcare professionals and providing them with the tools and resources they need to improve the health of women during the menopause transition and beyond. Since The Society was founded in 1989, it has served as the definitive, independent, and evidence-based resource for healthcare professionals and the public, providing accurate information about menopause and midlife women’s health.
Hope’s Door
Hope’s Door provides a 24/7/365 crisis, support and information hotline as well as emergency shelter to ensure individuals are safe from the threat of violence. Engaging in domestic violence education and training in schools and community centers throughout Westchester County, Hope’s Door offers counseling, advocacy and legal services for victims of domestic violence and human trafficking.
Go Red for Women (AHA)
Since 2004, the American Heart Association’s signature women's initiative, Go Red for Women, has addressed the awareness and clinical care gaps of women’s greatest health threat, cardiovascular disease (CVD).
